Congleton Food4Free is aiming to finish clearing the shrubbery between Capitol Walk and the bus station on Tues 26th Feb, from 10am onwards.

All volunteers are most welcome.  Tools will be provided, or bring your own favourites.

The job is to finish digging out shrub roots and a weed-suppressing membrane to prepare the area for later planting up with ornamental edibles and other plants to attract pollinators such as bumble bees, bees and hover-flies.

On Saturday 16th March (Big Dig day) the group will also be working in the town centre, preparing ground for planting and/or planting, and other gardening activities.

Use the contact form on this website to ask for further details, and to let us know if you can come along on either or both days.
