Congleton Food and Drink Festival is looking for volunteers to help out on the day at this year’s event. The Festival, which will take place in Congleton town centre on Sunday 15th June, is a community-run, non-profit event that brought over 12,000 visitors to the town centre last year, and which takes place thanks to the fantastic contribution of its volunteers. We are currently looking for volunteers who can help out – even just for an hour or two – on the day itself.

“Its a great event to be part of, with lots of friendly faces and a really good atmosphere in the town centre,” said one of last year’s volunteers.

Volunteer slots are 1 – 2 hours on a rota as and when people are available between 6.30am and 6.30pm on the day. Volunteers will be in the thick of the action providing information, manning the barriers and making sure the day goes smoothly for everyone. All volunteers will be provided with water, and those working 4 hours or more will receive a food voucher to spend on some of the delicious wares on sale at the festival.
