Got the idea for a great food business but don’t know where to start? Congleton Food and Drink Festival wants to hear from you.
This year the Festival is offering local people with a passion for baking and making the opportunity to take the first step towards turning their cooking skills into a business.
A number of subsidised stalls will be made available to first-timers, who will also be offered the use of a professional kitchen to prepare food for sale on the day. Getting your culinary creations under the noses of the 10,000 plus visitors expected at this year’s festival couldn’t be easier.
With low overheads and instant customer feedback, a market stall is the ideal starting place for a budding foodie entrepreneur. If you could be Congleton’s very own answer to Innocent Smoothies (started on a stall at a music festival in 1999) the 2014 Food Festival could be where it all starts!
